Apple's Senior Director of Apple Music, Ian Rogers, said in a tweet that iOS 8.4 will be available for users to update beginning 8am Pacific Time or 11pm Singapore time on Tuesday.
iOS 8.4 will include a thoroughly reworked Music app to support Apple Music, Apple's new music streaming service.
The 8am launch of iOS 8.4 is also unusual because it is a full two hours earlier than the regular 1am local time release window. According to reports, this change of timing is to accommodate the launch of Beats 1, Apple's worldwide 24/7 radio station, which will begin broadcasting on the same day at midnight local time.
@maurocorvino Update your phone at 8am. Zane's show starts at 9am PT.
