SINGAPORE - M1 Limited (M1) has announced that its customers on 4G plans will now be able to make 4G voice calls on an advanced network at no additional cost.
M1 said in a statement on Wednesday that its LTE-Advanced network will allow for faster connectivity when making calls as well as higher quality voice communication.
Although current M1 customers may need to update their phone software to enable the new feature, M1 said it is working to ensure upcoming handsets come with the feature enabled.
M1's Chief Operating Officer Mr Patrick Scodeller said: "Following a period of extensive testing, we are pleased to make available 4G Voice calls to our customers. We are sure our customers will appreciate the enhanced voice call quality and the ease of use of the feature."
