More Viber stickers with S'pore flavour

More Viber stickers with S'pore flavour

To celebrate Singapore's 50th birthday, chat messaging app Viber has released two new localised sticker packs here.

Smartphone and tablet users can download the stickers for free from the Viber Sticker Market.

Viber, which is owned by Rakuten Group, released the two packs - Singapore Shiok and Fun in Singapore - earlier this month. The packs showcase Singaporean expressions and lifestyle.

More than three million unique registered Viber users here can take their pick of 65 stickers from the Singapore Shiok pack to tell their friends about their day.

Users can spice up their messages with unique local terms such as "Can", "Paiseh" and "Shiok", paired with Viber characters such as Freddie the fox and Eve the panther.

If you are having a day out, be it shopping in Orchard Road or cycling in East Coast Park, you can select from 56 free stickers from the Fun in Singapore pack to tell your friends all about it. The pack includes characters such as Mayo the cat and Yango the baby tiger.

The first sticker pack, Singapore Lah, was launched in February with 60 free stickers. All three collections were designed by local creative agency Mojo.

Anyone with the Viber app can use these stickers. The Viber app is available for iOS, Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry devices.
