New AsiaOne apps offer better interface and user experience

SINGAPORE - AsiaOne has revamped its award-winning iPhone, Android and iPad apps, giving them an improved interface that will deliver better user experiences to readers.

The free apps, which have been popular sources of daily news to readers, now feature an improved menu and better content display.

On top of content curated from Singapore Press Holding's top newspapers - including The Straits Times, The Business Times and The New Paper - AsiaOne has also added a wide range of non-SPH content to its selection, including content from global and regional partners like The Wall Street Journal, Nikkei Asian Review, and Vulcan Post.

Mr Adrian Tay, Editor of AsiaOne, said in a statement today (April 29): "Readers of today are very discerning. When they are interested in a particular topic, they want multiple viewpoints. The new AsiaOne app will answer readers' need for that. We save our readers' time by having content from top publishers all within our platforms."

My Favourites - a new feature in the apps - allows readers to quickly browse through their preferred list of news stories.

The revamped apps are available for download - for free - in the Apple AppStore and the Google Play store.
