FITNESS TRACKER

Striiv Fusion

$149

It might look like your typical fitness tracker, but the Striiv Fusion also doubles as a smartwatch.

So, not only does it track a user's steps taken, calories burned, distance travelled and sleep quality, it also displays notifications for incoming calls and text messages via its Oled screen, when paired via Bluetooth with your smartphone.

The Fusion consists of a tracker module and three interchangeable wristbands (black, blue and red). Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery is supposed to last seven days on a full charge.

IPHONE CASE

iWalk Chameleon Immortal i6 Power Case for iPhone 6

$89, available end of this month

If you want a case for your new Apple iPhone 6, you might as well get a Power Case.

The iWalk Chameleon Immortal i6 Power Case has a 2,400mAh lithium polymer battery to keep your iPhone going when it runs out of juice. The charger has an on/off switch, so you do not have to remove the charger. Plus, it is only 12.9mm thick.

The Chameleon Immortal's air-cushioned sides will protect your iPhone in case it gets dropped. The case comes in black, silver and gold.

FOOTBALL BOOTS

Nike Shine Through Collection

$329

There was a time when football boots came only in black. Then, white appeared, before other colours joined the party. Now, Nike's new Shine Through Collection returns the boot to the purity of white.

The Shine Through Collection sets a colourful Nike swoosh, mimicking fireworks, against an all-white exterior to celebrate the new year.

The Tiempo Legend, Magista Opus, Hypervenom Phantom and Mercurial Vapor boot models will don the new Shine Through Collection design.

SOLID-STATE DRIVE

Adata Premier SP610

$89 (128GB), $149 (256GB), $299 (512GB) and $649 (1TB)

The Adata Premier SP610 SSD may be just the fast solid-state drive you need to perk up your gaming rig.

It uses a controller to maintain high reading/writing speeds for consistent stable performance. Reading speeds can reach 560MB per second, while writing speeds can hit 450MB per second.

The drive is a mere 7mm thick, making it ideal for slim PCs. It is bundled with a 2.5mm spacer and a 3.5-inch converter for conventional drive bays. It comes in capacities of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.

DIGITAL CAMERA

Casio Exilim EX-ZR50

$449

With the Casio Exilim EX-ZR50, you can ditch that selfie stick. Just flip the 16.1-megapixel camera's 3-inch display by 180 degrees and press the shutter button on the front to take that self-portrait.

To use the 25mm wide-angle (10x optical zoom) lens for that "wefie" of a large group, activate the camera's motion-shutter function and wave a hand at the camera to activate the shutter. The camera is Wi-Fi enabled, so it can connect to your smartphone and you can share the photos with friends instantly.

HOME THEATRE SYSTEM

Bose CineMate 15

$999

Bose's CineMate 15 home theatre sound system comprises a CineMate soundbar, an Acoustimass sub-woofer module and a universal remote.

The compact soundbar has four proprietary drivers - two in front, and one on each side - housed behind a sleek metal grille. The sub woofer module has a bass control knob and connects to the soundbar via a 3m cable, allowing some flexibility in its placement.

The system's remote also lets you control your TV, Blu-ray player and cable TV set-top box.
