New WhatsApp update may be bad for sexters

The new WhatsApp update could cause some very embarrassing situations for sexters.

In the current version of the app, user's notifications contain a very small amount of information and others are unable to view the message without unlocking their device.

Now, however, the messaging service is reportedly working on a change which means users will be able to see a short preview of a video within a notification.

The new feature was uncovered by WABetaInfo, which said video previews will be available within 'push notifications' meaning short clips will be viewable from the lock screen of your phone.

The functionality is available in version 2.18.102.5 of the WhatsApp beta software which the app says will be available soon.
