An unlisted promotional video of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge appeared on YouTube one week before the official launch event.
First spotted by Phone Probe, a United States-based website for smartphone news, the one-minute-long video shows how Indonesian archer Dellie Threesyadinda goes about her training with the new Galaxy S7 Edge. In one of the training scenarios, she is seen using the gadget in a sudden downpour.
Another feature, though not new, is wireless charging and it seems that the Galaxy S7 Edge will charge faster than before.
Threesyadinda is shown placing the phone on the wireless charging pad when the battery is at 10 per cent, and comes back from her training to see a fully charged battery.
Separately, it has been reported that Samsung is planning to launch a Batman v Superman edition of the Galaxy S7 Edge next month.
This is to coincide with the launch of the movie, according to Korean publication Naver.
Similar to the Iron Man limited-edition model last year, consumers can expect a matching wireless charger, clear cover and wallpapers.
Samsung may also be planning to introduce other limited- edition variants of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge later this year to commemorate important events.
The Korean company will be unveiling the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge at a launch event next week in Barcelona.
