SINGAPORE - Some Singtel customers are having problems using mobile data services.

Singtel said in a Facebook post at 2.49pm that "customers may be experiencing intermittent difficulties accessing 3G and 4G mobile data services".

Some users posted comments to the Facebook post, saying that the problem started about two hours before Singtel's announcement, while others said that they could not get through to Singtel's customer service hotline.

The Straits Times said readers told them that there was no mobile data services in areas like Bukit Panjang, Tampines, Orchard, Woodlands, and at HarbourFront.

Singtel said in its Facebook post that their "engineers are currently investigating and are working on restoring services as soon as possible. We will provide regular updates on our Facebook page and Twitter".
