The game is set in the late medieval Bavarian countryside where you get to play as Andeas Maler, an aspiring artist who arrives at the rustic town of Tassing to further his career. But you will soon be thrust into some deep and dark secrets, having to uncover the true conspiracy of the town.

Paired with heavily stylised art that is inspired by the colourful medieval manuscripts, and unique mechanics that allows players to define a lot of elements of Andreas' backstory, Pentiment is a fantastic addition to the Xbox Game Pass family.
