WATCH: Genius cat gains upper paw on automated feeder

Here's a little pick-me-up treat to help you survive the final stretch of the week.

It's a video on a clever feline that has left Twitter amazed — and there might be a chance that it'll impress you too.

The 38-second-long video was shared on Twitter last week by Japanese dancer and choreographer Saki Nagano (@KuronekoGeete) with a translated caption that reads: "After turning six, new wisdom comes unawares. Nobody's home during the day so I set up a timed feeder for my cat, but it pressed the dial down with its front paw and pushed it round and round on its own. Open!"

Since she leads a busy schedule, Nagano uses an automated feeder when away from home. The one that she uses operates through a simple mechanical timer that will pop its cover open after a set amount of time. 

True to her words, her brilliant kitty was caught on camera doing exactly as described, masterfully pressing down the dial with one paw while circling around concurrently to unlock the automatic pet feeder.

After turning enough times, the lid popped open, giving the cat a chance to hunker down on a sneaky feast before its scheduled mealtime. What a smart cookie.

The clip has since been viewed over three million times — unsurprising considering the internet's innate love for cat videos. 

Some have referred to the video as a masterpiece, while several others who were thoroughly amazed by the cat's cleverness. Others deemed that the evolution of cats is continuing, and humanity must soon bow down to the feline world.

Cats are highly intelligent beings, after all. Who knows, maybe they'll start figuring out how to open doors in the future. Oh, wait...
