ZTE's new smartphones to launch online exclusively at Qoo10

SINGAPORE - China mobile phone company ZTE will be launching two new smartphones - the ZTE Blade G and ZTE Blade G Lux - online at Qoo10, its "exclusive online partner for the soft launch, on Monday (Feb 9).

Qoo10 said that 20 sets of the higher-end ZTE Blade G Lux will be sold, on a first-come-first-serve basis, for $99. The normal price of the smartphone is $149, so the first 20 buyers will save $50.

After that, the remaining sets will be sold at $119 for the rest of the day.

Each purchase of the phone will also net the buyer a $20 Easy Taxi voucher.

The Blade G Lux is a 4.5-inch smartphone running on Android 4.4 Kitkat, with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. It comes with 4GB flash memory and dual SIM card support.

Qoo10 did not say how many sets of the Blade G Lux will be avaialble that day. But, if you missed the offer, you can still grab a Blade G for $95 and get a $10 Easy taxi voucher with each purchase.

The Blade G, also running on Android 4.4 Kitkat, has a 4-inch screen and sports a 2-megapixel rear camera.
