7 celebrity siblings we can't get enough of

As the saying goes, "good looks and talent runs in the family", so it comes as no surprise to see celebrities following in their siblings' footsteps to stardom.

While there are some under-the-radar siblings that may not be as renowned as their celebrity brother or sister, they are instrumental in shaping your favourite celebrities into people we love.

Plus, they are also super talented stars in their own right.

Here are a few celeb siblings you knew about, as well as a couple that may come as a surprise:

Taeyang and Hyun-bae

Though South Korean heartthrob Taeyang from boy band Big Bang might be the more recognisable sibling, his older brother Hyun-bae is accomplished as well. Since his acting debut in 2006, 34-year-old Hyun-bae has appeared in movies and dramas such as "Age of Youth", "Shut up: flower boy band" and "Holy Land".

It might be difficult to live under the shadow of a successful younger brother like Taeyang but Hyun-bae who is signed to MGB Entertainment has carved out an identity for himself. He recently appeared in the widely acclaimed drama series, "The Best Hit".

CL and Harin Lee

As chiselled features run in this talented family, it comes as no shocker that South Korean singer CL's younger sister is a model. Apart from juggling her modelling career, the 22-year-old is also currently pursuing accounting and finance at the Hong Kong University.

Earlier this year, the Hong Kong University undergrad posted a picture of her and her sister along with a long heartfelt caption where she recounts a very dark period in her life and how CL walked her through the tough times, "But I guess my ugly and real emotions and behaviour must have manifested themselves subconsciously, so my sister reached out to me and asked if I wanted to travel and work with her after I take a leave of absence from school. And for those 2 years I took the leave of absence, I saw, learned, and experienced many things. I realised I had been cornering myself in an already small world, and I'd never looked back or reflected on myself".

Christopher and Frederick Lee

Did you know that Christopher Lee had a brother? Judging from Frederick's boyish good looks, it's clear that the gene pool didn't leave him hanging. The 41-year-old youngest brother of local actor Christopher Lee is signed to Catwalk, the same Taiwanese agency the latter is signed to. Frederick has come a long way since his humble beginnings as an odd jobs worker.

At one point, the Malaysian actor worked as an illegal worker in Singapore for two weeks, installing ducting for air-conditioning. He recently made his first big screen debut, starring in the movie, "You Mean The World To Me", where he plays a struggling director who tries to raise funds to make an autobiographical film.

Former 2NE1 member Sandara Park isn't the only one in the family that is genetically blessed, the singer has a gorgeous younger brother, Thunder, who is also a musician. The duo recently teamed up to host the TVN Asia travel programme, "One Night Food Trip International" where they travelled to the Philippines.

Sandara recently shared this snapshot from their trip together with the tongue-in-cheek caption, "Selfie…failed..give me some of your height Doonga".

Benjamin and Narelle Kheng

When it comes to a duo that serves up major style inspo, we can't think of a more perfect pair than this pair of talented siblings from local indie band The Sam Willows. Both Benjamin and Narelle have a lot to be proud of.

Apart from playing in the band, the duo has also diversified their portfolio by branching out into hosting and acting. Most recently, Narelle became the leading lady in the Toggle Original series "Lifespam" while Benjamin made his film debut in the biographical movie "Wonder Boy".

Jessica and Krystal Jung

Having been in the K-pop scene since 2007, former Girls' Generation member Jessica Jung definitely blazed the trail for little sis Krystal. Whether they are on air or in front of their fans, the dynamic duo are not afraid to display their sisterly love.

In 2014, the pair of Korean American sisters starred in "Jessica & krystal", a reality variety show that documented the normal everyday life of the two K-pop starlets as sisters and friends.

Hayley and Jayley Woo

Even though they might be identical twins, there's no doubt that both of them are stars in their own right. The pint size actresses got their start in showbiz after joining talent seach competition, The New Paper New Face, in 2011. Since then, the pair have gone on to appear in movies like "That Girl In Pinafore" and theatre productions like "Chef: Bimbimbap VS Chili Crab".
