Hong Kong-based American actor Daniel Wu is upset that his car was broken into in San Francisco, reported Kwong Wah Yit Poh.
The thief made off with two bags after breaking the rear window of the car parked in the area.
Wu, 43, posted two videos showing the break-in on his Instagram on Monday.
He was with a friend and was just five seconds away from catching the thief in the act.
“Probably, I would have put some serious #intothebadlands pain on him,” he was quoted as saying.
The daily reported that Wu and his assistant were said to have suffered six-figure losses.
Wu also posted a video of a green car driven by the thief and urged those who spot it to take a picture and send to him.
The actor, who starred in over 60 Chinese projects in Asia since his acting career started in the late 1990s, has ventured into Hollywood with Lara Croft film Tomb Raider, and the third season of action-packed series Into The Badlands.
