Actor Ian Fang teared up multiple times while writing his song for Aloysius. Shane Pow broke down when listening to the final product.

The song, titled 念 28 (loosely translated as Missing 28), was written as a tribute to their 'Dai Lo' (big brother), late actor Aloysius Pang. Aloysius died on Jan 24 after suffering injuries during a military exercise in New Zealand. He was 28.

The tune uploaded to Facebook on Thursday (Feb 1) featured a rap by Ian, a chorus sung by fellow actor Shane, with additional vocals by singer Desmond Ng.

The song's introduction sampled lyrics from Wiz Khalifa's See You Again, which was composed in remembrance of Fast and Furious actor Paul Walker, who died in an accident in 2013.

Heartfelt and raw with emotion, it's hard not to be moved.

Some lyrics that left us with a lump in our throats: "That day you blamed me for leaving too early, I didn't know it'll be our last embrace as brothers...

"You said I'm not as stubborn as before, now you've abandoned us, where's your sense of loyalty." Sob.

Said Ian: "The day before the cremation, I thought about what I should give him, and decided to write him a song.

"We were good friends and I had so much I wanted to say. There were a lot of mixed feelings and my tears were just falling as I was writing (the song)," the 29-year-old told Lianhe Wanbao in an interview

"I came up with half the title of the song while Shane came up with the other half, it represents the length of time that this angel was with us."

The video, which was posted on The Celebrity Agency's Facebook page on Thursday, has been viewed over 250,000 times and shared more than 9,000 times as of writing.
