Andy Lau denies reports that his wife has given birth to their second child

Andy Lau has been trying to keep his family life away from media scrutiny.

It was recently reported that his wife had given birth to the couple's second child but the 55-year-old has come out to deny these rumours.

At a blessing ceremony for the film Chasing the Dragon on Wednesday, Andy denied having a second child.

"No!" he said. "Not at all." Andy said he is aware that this rumour has been going on for some time, and denied it one more time, reports Jayne Stars.

It is unclear whether he is telling the truth or if this is another tactic to get the media spotlight away from his family.
