AsiaOne on air: 2 festivals and some boogie time to look forward to this weekend

Our Party Girl recommends some festivals and special events to attend this weekend but first, OneFM's Shaun T seems to be a wanted man having what seems to be a regular gig at Tolido's on Crawford Lane.

He's on this Friday doing his comedy thang from 8pm. Catch him like you would a Pokemon (as that is the theme)!

Otherwise, for the first time, Singapore is holding a FestivalForGood where social enterprises here come together to celebrate their passion to do good through their businesses.

Over Saturday and Sunday from 10am, visitors can look forward to a pop-up market featuring socially-conscious merchandise, a fashion with a cause runway show, and workshops like leather crafting or circus juggling.

And, there will also be sharing sessions by social entrepreneurs on the challenges and motivations behind running a social enterprise.

Find out more about the line-up of activities at festivalforgood.sg.

Also on Saturday, the Chang Sensory Trails is on at the Bayfront Event Space from 2pm.

This is also a festival, and it will have live music, contemporary art, Thai food and Chang beer. Admission is free.

For those who are still looking for a little boogie, check out kult kafe on Emily Hill on Saturday from 2pm for a drum & bass BBQ.

Or go to Lime House on Jiak Chuan Road from 4pm for their third anniversary party.

Music will be from the Caribbean to Latin and Afrobeats, and there will be plenty of rum punch.

If you don't know, now you know.

To catch the Party Girl, listen to her on OneFM's #1 Breakfast Show with Glenn Ong and The Flying Dutchman on Thursday mornings.
