AsiaOne on air: It's party time with F1 weekend in Singapore

It's F1 weekend which only means one thing other than racing cars - awesome parties!

Let's start with Johnnie Walker. Remember the time when they used to hold the most coveted parties during the early days of Singapore's GP? Well, this time round they're spreading their love in different venues that will be decked out according to an F1 city theme.

On Friday, Zouk will have its version with a Singapore-themed night.

At the same time, Altimate will be transformed to look like Monaco, and a Brazilian vibe will take over Baliza.

On Saturday, China's international circuit will be celebrated at Shanghai Dolly, and Magic Carpet Lounge will bring party-goers to Abu Dhabi, and with a guest performance by UK Punjabi singer Juggy D.

Now for Ce La Vi. On Friday, UK hip hop DJ Shortee Blitz will be on party duty, Saturday will guest-star Latin house Dutch DJ Gregor Salto, Sunday will see German electronic DJ Lexer spinning, and Monday will have French-Canadian DJ Fred Everything for a post-F1 weekend party wind-down.

On to Podium Lounge. Friday will feature Mark Doyle, the creator of dance music events Hed Kandi, Saturday will star 'Gangsta's Paradise' rapper Coolio, and Sunday will see singer Macy Gray, both performing live.

Over in Clarke Quay, VLV is celebrating their 1st birthday bash on Friday. You can also watch the races live both Friday and Saturday nights there.

At Attica, Heineken is having a party there on Friday night featuring top female DJs The Leng Sisters, and on Saturday, they're having a Dom Perignon party with DJ Paul Harris of house music group Dirty Vegas.

Then, 1-Altitude is having a Martini Party on Saturday with electronic DJ Madison Mars.

Bang Bang is also having their offerings with party DJs Agent Smith on Friday and Jesse Marco on Saturday.

And, the beautiful Atlas bar is having a full F1 weekend till Sunday night with music group Darker Than Wax doing a mix of sets. Best part, there is no cover charge or minimum spend.
