AsiaOne on air: Saturday is fun day with 3 day-timers to party at

This weekend our Party Girl recommends going out on Saturday because it seems to be the day to do all things fun, especially in the day time.

Keong Saik Road is having their inaugural street carnival from noon.

You'll be treated to a variety of music by local bands, traditional Chinese musicians, and DJs.

There will also be a street bazaar, live art installations, cultural workshops, and plenty of food and drink to try.

Over at Ce La Vie, party organisers Sunshine Nation is having a Noon to Moon event from 12pm.

Dance to a DJ from Bangkok, one from Berlin and Ce La Vie's residents.

The dress code is casual daytime chic with no flip-flops and singlets.

Sofitel So Singapore is having their Eyes to the Front pool party from 2pm.

Cover is only $10 with lots of drinks specials, and the DJs are pretty rocking.

And for a chilled Sunday, kult kafe on Emily Hill is having a Skratch Jam.

Singapore's turntablist community will get-together with a 10-deck setup.

No need to imagine how cool this will be, just go for it.

If you don't know, now you know.

To catch the Party Girl, listen to her on OneFM's #1 Breakfast Show with Glenn Ong and The Flying Dutchman on Thursday mornings.
