After two stunts that wowed America's Got Talent judges and audiences, Demian Aditya's third time wasn't exactly a charm.

The illusionist's quarterfinal stunt failed to leave the same awed impression on the audiences as his previous ones.

Demian was assisted to be chained inside a wooden coffin that was hanging up in the air. Below it were spears lit on fire that would meet and split the coffin after the ropes holding the wooden box were burned to break.

Instead, the contraption was seemingly stuck, leaving the audience confused.

A seemingly impatient Mel B, who looked unsatisfied as to the progress of the act, was the first to give Demian the X.

After a while, the escape artist showed up behind the judges with a fire extinguisher, where Simon Cowell was also not impressed and also gave Demian an X.
