A-Mei to perform in Singapore for Chinese New Year

Taiwanese pop diva A-Mei will return to Singapore in February for a Chinese New Year performance at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS).

She will be accompanied by Eve Ai, last year's Best Female Singer at the Golden Melody Awards, with whom she collaborated on the song Catfight, and her 18-year-old niece Anna, also a singer.

The shows take place on February 15 and 16. Tickets are priced from $78 to $228 and can be purchased from RWS or Sistic.

A-Mei is a three-time Best Female Singer and one of Mandopop's most successful products, having sold over 50 million albums.

Her last concert here was in 2017. Her 2014 appearance at Spring Wave Singapore made the news after the Info-communications Media Development Authority prevented her from performing her song Rainbow. She had dedicated the song to her LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) fans at a previous concert.
