Are you ready for possibly the world's strongest coffee?

Are you ready for possibly the world's strongest coffee?

Coffee lovers, rejoice! There's a new bean in town and it'll most likely make you blatantly buzzed.

Black Insomnia - with its tag #SleepingIsCheating - says on its website that is has a minimum of 702mg of caffeine per 12-ounce (354ml) cup. That makes them "6.3 per cent stronger than the previous strongest coffee".

The previous strongest coffee, Death Wish, contains 660mg of caffeine.

How much caffeine is too much? "Dangerously high levels of caffeine" as Black Insomnia puts it.

For comparison, espresso contains 212mg of caffeine while a can of Red Bull has 108mg of caffeine.

The makers behind Black Insomnia say "there are products with higher caffeine content out there, but they are not strictly pure coffee."

Care to try, coffee lovers? Be careful though, as "up to 400mg of caffeine a day appears to be safe for most healthy adults," recommends the Mayo Clinic.

If you feel you can handle the extra perk-me-up, you can buy Black Insomnia directly on its website.
