You can now reserve a restaurant table on Google Search

Your makan time just got easier. Google announced today that you can book a table at the restaurant directly through a Google search result or Google Maps.

The feature, called "Reserve with Google", allows users to make instant reservations by clicking on the "Find a Table" button.

To launch this feature, Google is working with Chope, HungryGoWhere and Quandoo, so don't be surprised if you see a little Chope logo at the bottom of the page. So basically, you're still using one of the service providers to book a table, but you don't actually have to go to their website or use their app. Which means, you get to save on data.

The feature has been launched and is super easy to use. In fact, we gave it a go and were done in under a minute (well, depending on how fast you type)!

1. Search for the restaurant you want to dine at.

2. Choose the date and time.

3. If you're not signed in to Google, you will get this prompt. Don't panic, just sign in.

4. Fill in your personal particulars and confirm your reservation.

Now there's no reason for you to procrastinate on making a reservation once you've stumbled upon a restaurant with stellar reviews.
