Free dental screenings at Tampines this weekend

SINGAPORE - A team of dentists and hygienists will be conducting free check-ups in March at Giant Tampines, starting this Saturday.

Following a similar run conducted last week, the free screenings will be available on March 24 and 25.

For those worried that they may not be able to catch it this Saturday, rest assured, there will be another run of free screenings on April 14 and 15 at Jurong Point, Northpoint.

The screenings will be held from 10:30am to 6pm

Tooth sensitivity affects nearly one in every two Singaporeans, said Sensodyne, a co-partner in the event.

With tooth sensitivity a rising concern in Singapore, the dentists will share tips on preventing and treating the condition, as well as the dangers of ignoring the condition, the organisers said.

The check-up is free and participants can look forward to a special kit from Sensodyne.
