Nose job falls short of event planner's expectations

A woman in Kuala Lumpur forked out RM30,000 (S$12,380) and received more than 300 injections that not only failed to make her prettier but gave her a snub nose instead, China Press reported.

The 34-year-old event planner, who wished to be known only as Chan, had gone to the plastic surgery clinic between October and November last year for the nose job and facelift.

The daily reported that the woman suspected that the clinic had used fake hyaluronic acid and sheep placenta as filler for her nose job which resulted in the snub nose.

She claimed that she now had to use her fingers to correct the position of her nose bridge.

She added that she had demanded compensation from the clinic but had yet to hear from it. She has also made a police report.
