JINGDE - Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported that surgeons in a hospital in the Jingde town of Jiangxi province, China, stole a patient's kidneys during a C-section procedure for the delivery of a baby.
A woman, who had recently delivered her baby via C-section at the Sin Hua Hospital, had been feeling unwell since she was discharged.
Upon a medical examination at another hospital, she was shocked to find out that she was missing a kidney and immediately lodged a police report.
The hospital's director, who was arrested by the police, admitted to have stolen nine kidneys, including the one from the woman.
However, he did not reveal if these organs were taken from women who came to give birth at the hospital or where the kidneys went.
