HK's Chocoolate opens at Bugis Junction

Hong Kong multi-label boutique i.t will be opening its second boutique here at Bugis Junction today.

Making its debut at the new store will be the new-to-market Hong Kong streetwear brand Chocoolate, which is known for its fun prints and collaborations with other iconic brands such as Hello Kitty, Coca-Cola and Dr Martens. Chocoolate’s recent 7th-anniversary collaboration with Baby Milo by A Bathing Ape was highly anticipated in Hong Kong, with long queues forming at the pop-up store last week.

Shoppers here can now get their hands on A Bathing Ape’s Baby Milo products at the Bugis outlet.

Other avant-garde street-fashion brands – Izzue, 5cm and fingercroxx – will be stocked alongside Chocoolate at the 5,300 sq ft store on level two, which is divided into different sections for the different brands.

Known for its stylish monotone detailing, such as checkered patterns and polka dots, with pop-culture motifs like Garfield, Snoopy and Doraemon incorporated in its clothing and merchandise, Chocoolate was previously available only in Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and Macau.

The brand will not be carried at i.t’s Wisma Atria flagship outlet, which opened in July.
