Free wonton mee for cabbies

Eng’s Char Siew Wantan Mee at Tanjong Katong Road is showing its appreciation for cabbies by giving away packets of noodles every day from today (April 21) till May 4.

100 packets of noodles will be available for free from 12pm to 5pm every day. However, the offer is only available to taxi drivers (sorry, private-hire drivers). 

The food will be prepared upon order, and drivers will have to show their taxi licence for redemption.

KFC food deals

With the closure of all McDonald's branches until May 4, how will we satisfy our fast food cravings? Thankfully, KFC is still open with plenty of takeaway and delivery deals this month.

From now till April 28, customers can enjoy delivery and takeaway offers at certain outlets. You just have to enter the promotion codes during online checkout or at ordering kiosks to redeem.

As a KFC app exclusive for takeaway orders under the promo code section, customers are entitled to a $2.95 Chicken Box.

DBS or POSB card holders are also able to redeem a one-for-one Zinger Burger through KFC Delivery or the KFC app. You can check out the deal on their website. Some terms and conditions:

• It's limited to one redemption per transaction
• There's a minimum order and surcharge required for delivery
• Payment must be made with DBS or POSB credit or debit card

On the other hand, customers who own a Samsung mobile device can redeem a two-piece Chicken Meal for $2 when ordering via takeaway from now till April 26. The voucher code is available on the Samsung Members app. However, do take note of some terms and conditions:

• It's valid for the first 10,000 redemptions or while stocks last
• It's limited to one redemption per customer
• There's no minimum spending

Buy 3-get-1-free bakery promotions

1. Barcook Bakery

From April 15, Barcook Bakery is offering customers a buy-three-get-one-free takeaway promotion on their buns! The complimentary bun is valid for the lowest-valued product and while stocks last.

Previously, the bakery also announced a 50 per cent discount on all chilled cakes at all outlets. It is a limited-time offer but the deadline has not been explicitly stated, so there's no harm trying!

2. Delifrance

If you prefer subs over buns, Delifrance is also having a buy-three-get-one-free delivery promotion. For any three sandwiches bought, customers are entitled to a free seafood sandwich. However, this promotion is only available on FoodPanda and Deliveroo.

1. Yole

Froyo lovers rejoice! Yole is having 20 per cent off two medium Yoleboxes when customers order through GrabFood, Deliveroo and FoodPanda. There will also be 25 per cent off two medium Yoleboxes for takeaway orders at any Yole outlet except United Square and Westmall, while stocks last.

2. Boost Juice

Looking for something healthy to quench your thirst? With a minimum spending of $15, Boost Juice bars are offering customers $3 off delivery fee when they order through GrabFood.

3. Fatburgers

Fatburgers is offering customers $10 off their first delivery, islandwide. The only catch? You'll need to spend a minimum of $80, which might be worth it if you have big-eaters in your family.

If not, customers can also opt for takeaway orders instead, with a complimentary $5 voucher when you sign up at rewards.deelishbrands.com.

In addition, you can earn unlimited amounts of $2 food vouchers when referring friends or family to sign up. To redeem, flash the coupon at the counter of any Fatburger outlet.

Yayoi food promotions

Good things come in pairs and Yayoi is having a one-for-one promotion on its rice bowls. With a purchase of Teriyaki Chicken Don or Gyu Don, customers are entitled to an additional Don. For every $50 spent, customers will also be given eight pieces of chicken karaage.

In addition, when you order takeaway, you can be rewarded with a 50 per cent voucher return on your purchase. The promotion is valid till the end of 2020 and is not applicable for online orders.
