With the government advice to only leave the house for essential items, getting food delivered has never been more important than now.

One very good thing to come out of the Circuit Breaker month is that some of our favourite restaurants are offering takeaway specials during this time. Some of the best are:

1. No Menu - this fail-safe Italian is offering a whopping 50 per cent off their menu prices and have put together a take-away menu of some fine Italian classics including vitello tonato and lasagne.

2. Jimmy Monkey - everyone's favourite cafe and coffee stop now has a range of takeaway treats including ham and cheese toasties and banana waffles.

3. iO Italian Osteria - yet another Italian is getting in on the takeaway act. Order by email or whatsapp and have some Southern Italian treats delivered to your door.

4. Little Elephant Thai Bistro - in the mood for some Thai food? Well, while they don't normally deliver - Little Elephant Thai Bistro will not only bring the food to your door, but 10 per cent over $30 and 15 per cent over $80.

5. Social Place might well be known for their contemporary Chinese cuisine but weren't so famous for their delivery - well that's changed now.

6. Menya Kokoro - live in the Tanjong Pagar district and fancy some mazesoba? No problem during this time.

7. The English House - Marco Pierre White's famous, and delicious, restaurant is now offering tasty treats to takeaway and be delivered.

8. Atlas Bar - sure it won't be the same vibe at home, but you can sample some of the tasty cocktails, delivered right to your door.
