4 from Singapore identified in Penang 'nude games' video

GEORGE TOWN - Police have identified seven Malaysians among the participants of a "naked sports" event, allegedly held in Teluk Kampi here.

Penang police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Wira Abdul Rahim Hanafi said Wednesday that of the 15 participants seen in the video entitled "Penang Nude Sports Games", seven were Malaysian, while four were from Singapore.

"The remaining include one person from the Philippines, two from Myanmar, and one from India.

"Nine are male participants while the remaining six are female," he told reporters at the state contingent police headquarters in Penang Road here.

He said police had also recorded statements from 10 people to aid in investigations.

A video, entitled "Penang Nude Sports Games", was posted about two months ago on video sharing site Vimeo and has since gone viral.

The video depicts a group of 18 nudists participating in physical activities at a secluded beach off Teluk Bahang.
