KUALA LUMPUR - Love for music was certainly in the air at Stadium Merdeka here last night as Indian composer A.R. Rahman performed at the A.R. Rahman Infinite Love Live In Concert.
The 15,000-strong crowd of fans broke out into deafening cheers as the two-time Academy Award winner took the stage, opening with his famous Dil Se Re.
This was Rahman's first concert in Malaysia since 2003, and he said he was delighted to be back.
"I first performed here 18 years ago, and I always love coming back," he said.
Organised by DML Live, A.R. Rahman Infinite Love Live In Concert is supported by Malaysia Major Events, a division of Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau under the Tourism and Culture Ministry.
