An express bus driver was caught talking and texting on her handphones while driving from Kamunting, Perak, to Pudu Sentral in Kuala Lumpur, China Press reported.
A passenger, who was afraid to tell the driver off, recorded her irresponsible act and sent the video clip to the daily.
Recalling her experience that took place last Wednesday, the passenger told the daily that the driver was making and answering phone calls using her two handphones.
"The driver was overtaking other vehicles with one hand while doing these," said the passenger. "After she hung up, she started texting on her phone. Another passenger and I were shocked, but we dared not tell her off."
The driver, she added, also ate bread while driving. Just before reaching the bus station, a foreigner approached her and the two started chatting.
"The driver took less than three and a half hours for a journey that was more than 280km. I felt like I was on an F1 bus," she said, adding that there were more than 10 passengers on the bus at the time.
