Cabby assaulted with steering lock for admiring neighbour

A taxi driver paid a painful price for admiring his neighbour's beauty when her boyfriend assaulted him with a steering lock for looking at her, reported Harian Metro.

The 28-year-old taxi driver needed six stitches to his head after he was attacked in front of his house in Pandan Indah, Ampang, in Kuala Lumpur.

The incident on Sunday started when the taxi driver was outside his house and saw the woman with her boyfriend.

After realising that the taxi driver was staring at them, the woman's boyfriend confronted him and after hurling expletives, challenged him to a fight. The taxi driver ignored the man and went inside his house.

When he went out to close the gate, the boyfriend darted towards him and hit his head with a steering lock.
