Ceremonial welcome for Brunei Crown Prince

PUTRAJAYA - The Crown Prince of Brunei Al-Muhtadee Billah Ibni Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah was accorded a ceremonial welcome at Perdana Square here.

The Crown Prince, who arrived at 10.30am, was greeted by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

After the formalities, an official discussion was held at Seri Perdana.

The Crown Prince and his consort Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah Salleh are on a five-day official visit to Malaysia aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation.

The royal couple arrived on Thursday with a 23-member delegation.

The prince, who is also the Royal Brunei Armed Forces general and senior minister in the Prime Minister's Department, visited the Defence Ministry and was also conferred the Maroon Beret and Honorary Airborne Wing of the 10th Para Bridge at the Terendak Camp in Malacca.
