GEORGE TOWN - A cleaner of Penang Botanic Gardens made a gruesome found of a headless female body in a black luggage under a tree at a car park in Jalan Kebun Bunga here.

Not only was the female body without a head, it was also found with only part of her torso and hands while the parts below her navel were missing.

Penang police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Wira Abdul Rahim Hanafi said Thursday that it is the cruelest case in the state this year and believed the victim was dead for at least 24 hours.

"We believe the victim's body was dumped here while the crime took place somewhere else," he said.

He added that police is investigating the case under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
