PETALING JAYA - A feel-good video for the festive season has emerged when a clip featuring a group of Chinese youths singing Hari Raya songs during a train ride went viral.
The 30-second clip, in which the youths belt out Saloma's Selamat Hari Raya on a KTM Komuter train, was seen as a show of unity, especially in the wake of the Low Yat incident.
It was uploaded by Twitter user Arisya on Monday night under the handle @sekuntum_isya and has since been retweeted more than 4,000 times.
"Padunya Chinese pun nyanyi lagu raya dalam KTM! (How great is this that the Chinese are also singing a Raya song in KTM!)," wrote Arisya.
Other Twitter users were also impressed with the positive message of the video clip.
"This is beautiful," wrote user @AnihAzmi.
"My Indian colleagues pun pasang lagu raya kat office (My Indian colleagues also play Raya songs in the office)," shared user @Zulfahmiabsalam.
The video clip has been favourited more than 1,600 times by other Twitter users.
However, it is not known when the clip was taken. Attempts to contact Arisya were unsuccessful.
