KANGAR - Police will be exhuming more bodies from graves found at the abandoned human-trafficking camps near Wang Kelian.

Starting tomorrow, its personnel would sift through 91 graves at Bukit Wang Perah, part of the 139 that were discovered. Several graves were exhumed earlier.

Perlis police chief Senior Asst Comm Shafie Ismail said the team would be travelling to and from the site via the Thai section of the area which is more accessible.

"We've the approval of the Thais and will go via Ban Telok," SAC Shafie said.

SAC Shafie said it was only an hour's hike to the site from the Thai side, compared to the three-hour slog on Malaysian soil.

He also denied a Malay daily report that a new camp site had been discovered.
