KUALA LUMPUR - Police are still investigating the motive behind the death of an air stewardess, who fell four storeys to her death at a condominium in Bandar Bukit Jalil.

Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Chong Kok Sin called on the public not to speculate on the incident.

ACP Chong said the 29-year-old victim, who was from Sarawak, had fallen from a window on the fourth floor while her housemate was sleeping.

"The woman was crying alone in her room on Monday morning. Her room was in a mess and her purse was left on the bed," he added.

ACP Chong said a notebook was also found on the bed, but denied reports claiming that it contained a suicide note.

"It cannot be interpreted as a suicide note," he added.
