PETALING JAYA - She was aiming for her brake pedal, but a woman accidentally stepped on the accelerator instead, sending her vehicle barrelling through a glass wall of a restaurant near Metro Point in Kajang.

In the 9.15am incident on Saturday, the 54-year-old woman was making an attempt to park her car.

"She said she wanted to press the brake. She was unharmed but everyone in the shop ran for cover when it happened," said a 59-year-old man who wished to remain anonymous.

"Everyone was scared because the sound of the glass shattering was very loud," he said.

The owner of the shop, who wish also did not want to be named, estimated losses to be between RM50,000 (S$18,000) to RM100,000.
