SUNGAI PETANI: A man was found stabbed to death behind a house in Taman Arked here.

Kuala Muda OCPD Asst Comm Saifi Abdul Hamid said a torched car was found near the body.

"Our probe showed he was from Nibong Tebal in Penang and he came here driving his friend's car.

"We believe two men, who were known to the victim, were involved in the incident.

ACP Saifi added that there were marks on Liu's body which could be the result of a scuffle.

"We have contacted the car owner. The body had been sent for for a post-mortem."

A resident said he went to the back of his house after hearing a dog barking and saw the man on the ground.

"He was still alive then. He managed to say that someone had taken his car before he died."
