MALAYSIA - A family in Klang has carried out a ritual to "bring back" the spirits of three family members who had drowned in Singapore 11 years ago, reported China Press.
The ritual was carried out after the three spirits were said to have sent a message to a fisherman in Singapore to help them get back to Klang.
The fisherman was involved in the search and rescue efforts when the three - a 34-year-old mother and her two children, aged five and eight - went missing.
The three were on a holiday.
The spirits apparently sent the message to the fisherman in May. The ceremony was carried out by a temple medium Thursday morning.
