Future Music Festival Asia 2014 releases information on refunds

KUALA LUMPUR - The organisers of Future Music Festival Asia 2014 have announced refund procedures with regards to the cancellation of Day 3 of the event.

The last day of the three-day music festival was cancelled after drug use left six Malaysians dead from an overdose and landed another 15 people, including nine Singaporeans, in hospital.

According to The New Paper, Cheras police chief Mohan Singh also said that 29 people were arrested for drug-related offences.

A media statement released by event organisers today says that refund amounts for tickets will vary by ticket type. The refund submission dates run from March 20 to March 31, and will take 30 to 60 working days to process.

Refunds will not be provided for Complimentary, Single Day 1 and Day 2 ticket buyers, Single Day 1 and Day 2 RFID wristband holders and on flights and accommodation.

Affected festival goers should ensure that the information provided is accurate.
