Ipoh can't take action over 'semi-nude' wedding photoshoot

MALAYSIA - The Ipoh City Council (MBI) has no authority to take action over photography sessions being held around the area.

According to the council's legal adviser, Syahrul Azrin Ghazali, no permit from local authorities is required for the purpose of photography recording.

He was asked to comment about the "semi-nude" wedding photoshoot at the city's "Old Town" area which had caused a stir on social media.
