Karaoke outlet with prostitutes raided despite sophisticated security system

Harian Metro reported that a karaoke outlet that offered the services of prostitutes to VIPs was raided despite having a sophisticated security system to watch out for enforcement officers.

Although the outlet had a biometric identification system to let in only the VIPs, Bukit Aman's Secret Societies, Gambling and Vice (D7) team raided the place in Taman Shamelin Perkasa, Kuala Lumpur, at 1.30am on Wednesday.

The tabloid quoted chief of operations Asst Supt Ibrahim Husin as saying that 19 foreign women, aged between 22 and 32, were detained.

There were some 50 clients at the outlet, which had four VIP rooms and 22 karaoke rooms and secret doors for the women to escape.
