Lee Chong Wei cruises in the Denmark Open

Defending champion Lee Chong Wei stormed into the quarter-finals of the Denmark Open yesterday. Chong Wei, the top seed, secured an easy 21-11, 21-17 win over Viktor Axelsen of Denmark in the second round. He will play another Danish shuttler Jan Jorgensen in the last eight tonight.

Men's doubles Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong also made it to the quarter-finals after beating Michael Fuchs-Johannes Schoettler of Germany 21-14, 21-19 in the second round. Kien Keat-Boon Heong will meet new South Korea pair Lee Yong Dae-Yoo Yeon Seong in the quarter-finals.
