KUALA LUMPUR - Police will not pursue the case against three youths arrested following clashes in front of Low Yat Plaza.

One of the youths, Neo Kent Dee, 16, said the investigation officer told them this when they reported to the Dang Wangi police headquarters yesterday.

"The investigation officer told us that we were free and the case against us will not be pursued further," he told reporters yesterday.

The three, who were released on police bail on July 15, were told to be present at the headquarters yesterday.

Neo said he was arrested at around 8pm on July 12 because he held a stick in the premises where the fracas took place.

"My motorcycle was parked in the basement and I held the stick to protect myself in case I was ambushed in the basement," he said, adding that he was arrested by plainclothes police before he could get into the lift.
