PETALING JAYA - Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein was admitted to a hospital yesterday to undergo an angioplasty.
A statement from his office said he is in a stable condition.
It said doctors had detected a blockage in one of Hishammuddin's heart arteries during a medical examination.
"Doctors performed an angioplasty procedure at 3pm.
"He has been advised to rest in the hospital for the time being," the statement said without naming the hospital.
