Low-cost flats that are claimed to be coming up in Jinjang Selatan Tambahan are for sale online - if you are willing to pay up to RM30,000 (S$11600) to secure a unit.
Several online websites have been advertising the upcoming project with one post appearing in an online forum in December last year.
The post stated there were only two 640sq ft (59.5 sq m) units left, priced at RM68,000 each.
A name along with a contact number was given.
Five people responded to the advertisement, with the latest query posted on March 18.
Most asked for photos and the agent's fees.
Those who expressed interest online were asked to call John*.
In a phone conversation, he even offered a special discount to buyers who purchased both units together.
The open sale is disturbing given that Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) guidelines clearly state that only married Malaysian couples with a combined income of not more than RM2,500 are entitled to low-cost units.
