A man claimed that he was at a traditional massage centre for treatment to relieve his aching hands.
Religious enforcement officers dismissed his barefaced lie when they caught him naked with a woman at the centre in Sungai Besi, Harian Metro reported.
He and five other men were nabbed in a raid by Federal Territory Religious Department (Jawi) enforcement officers.
Jawi enforcement chief Wan Jaapar Wan Ahmad said the late-night raid found the men, who were Muslims, being massaged by women who were not their mahram (blood-related kin).
He said they pleaded to be released, giving all sorts of reasons, including the aching hand, but the officers stood firm.
The men were taken to the department's headquarters for processing and then detained for khalwat (close proximity).
