SERDANG, Malaysia - A man was shot dead while waiting for his son to leave school. The shooting occurred at about 5pm yesterday at a bus-stop in Sri Serdang, in front of SK Sri Serdang.
It was learnt that a motorcycle with two men rode past before the man was shot.
A passerby was also injured during the shooting, but is in a stable condition in Hospital Serdang.
Police have yet to disclose the identity of the victim, but CID chief Senior Asst Comm Fadzil Ahmat confirmed that the deceased was a local in his 40s.
“The two suspects have yet to be identified. Investigations showed that the victim was waiting for his child to leave school at the time of the shooting,’’ he said when contacted.
ACP Fadzil said the injured man, in his 30s, was also thought to have been waiting for his child.
