Man lodges police report over snub by friend

AN UNEMPLOYED man has lodged a police report against his friend for not treating him to free cigarettes, food and drinks.

China Press reported that the 31-year-old from Johor Baru was not happy after his friend snubbed him when they met at a food court in Skudai at about 6pm on Feb 25.

He went to the Taman Universiti police station at 10.55pm and lodged a report, saying his friend, who used to buy him cigarettes, food and drinks, ignored him when they met earlier, as if they no longer knew each other.

He said he did not know why his friend behaved that way and his report was to show his dissatisfaction with his friend's behaviour.

Johor Baru North OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Taib Ahmad said there was no problem with the man's report and there was nothing improper that should not be made public.
